Is earthing wire necessary on communal Sky dish set up?

I live in a block of 12 purpose-built apartments that are served by one satellite dish through a splitter box. One of the other tenants wants to upgrade his Sky subscription to Sky Q but the Sky technician won't touch the splitter box because it's not earthed. Is this right? The original...

    Problem with condenser boiler.

You're the man Dan :D. Thank you for your advice. It was the low pressure sensor that was the problem and has been fully fixed by by-passing the connections to get water circulating around the system. The wires were refitted to the sensor and EVERYTHING worked properly :woohoo.

Yes I did - even to the extent of switching the boiler off at the wall and leaving it switched off for an hour. Still flashing afterwards.

    Problem with condenser boiler.

Thanks for your help Dan. I don't think I'll mess with it myself just in case I really bugger it up. I'll call in a local Gassafe heating engineer.

    Problem with condenser boiler.

Yes, 1. The power/pressure light is flashing. (BTW, I upped the pressure from 0.2 to 1.4b before I tried to start the hot water.)

    Problem with condenser boiler.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, Dan. It's an 80E. I know they're rubbish but funds are too low to have a replacement fitted (although I'd love to have a new one installed).

    Problem with condenser boiler.

My boiler is an 11yr old Ferolli Modena, which is serviced regularly. Yesterday, I turned on the hot water tap and the boiler started up. After 5 or so seconds it switched itself off. No hot water, no showers, etc. I have no idea what has gone wrong but I do hope there is someone out there...

    Error loading ...

Well, that didn't work I'm sorry to say and the file is definitely \imagehlpe.dll. I've updated my copy of AVG 9 (paid subscription) and run it. Found a trojan or two plus tracking cookies, all of which have been nuked. Still getting that dialog box on vista boot up though.
