Apologies for lack of knowledge. Lockshield on which rad? Lockshield is the valve that isn't the thermostatic one, right? How do I find out about boiler set to cold pressure? Rads haven't been balanced using proper equipment. So far plumber hasn't seemed particularly able!

Sorry to sound daft, but does the knob come with all the required wires/sensors etc? What I mean is, is that if the fault is with the wiring will replacing the knob itself sort it out or does the wiring/sensor inside need replacing? Hope that made sense!
