    Hi, I have one of these BoilerMags and not got a spanner (BowlSpanner) to undo the casing. http://www.boilermag.com/products/domestic/#! Searched the internet and couldn't see anything Is there a compatible version or can I use any other? Any help, thanks

    Problem sorted.. Ripped out most of floor boards and found a service valve. Ripped out the valve and found it was clogged with black debris. replaced the valve and bit of pipe each side and piping hot water was flowing upstairs. Really appreciate your comments and help here... thanks guys.

    all copper... except loft conversion, pipes are plastic but come out copper from the walls...

    I have 8 new rads... not sure about heat loss? Basically got in this situation when builders took on a project of a extension with new boiler and rads... they done the boiler and rads... the extension half done and they left the job... A law suit is in place and going ahead at the moment...

    Size of boiler... 31kw... its a Vaillant ectTec Plus 831... Length of pipe run unknown.... Just added a loft conversion... so 2 storey high... Boiler situated at the ground floor... back extension....

    Yes boiler turning off and on allot, assume its heating water then stopping and pushing water out.. My rads system is defo number 2

    Ill check the bypass screw... not sure what position or turns its meant to be at? is there a specific number of turns from start?

    auto bypass? i'll have a look at that, is that an option in the menu system somwhere or is it a valve inside boiler? Spent days trying to balance, just not travelling upstairs fast enough or not travelling where it needs to... dont suppose there's an airlock...?? but how could they be if...

    Ok, I will change pressure to 1.2 I altered the pump speed to 100% as I thought the pump was not pumping water around or not enough power. The pump overrun time changed that to 1min from 5min Boiler power is set to Auto My old system was a open vented cylinder system and all rads...

    Thanks EightyTwo I'm going down an external dialler route. Its portable, universal and like you said you have flexibility of installing this anywhere around the home (within distance to phone) Quick question, are these any good??? although its from abroad, would it work the same way...

    Hi, I have a Scantronic 9651 - with 9943 keypad I wanted to know if its possible in any way to connect the i-sd01 Speech Dialler Module I understand it doesn't slot into the 9651 board and may need wiring. Any ideas? Thanks
