Is this really covered by Permitted Development?

Reading through a Permitted Development guide on an architectural firm's website led me to the following... I always thought that the eaves height of the entire extension was caught by the "2 metres from any boundary" rule, not just the two storey part of the extension?

    Extension vaulted Roof

Thanks for the reply, I'm very keen to avoid purlins, as this would spoil what I'm trying to achieve. A closer look at the span tables shows that this should be achievable with some readily available timbers.

    Extension vaulted Roof

I'm currently planning a single storey rear extension, and would like to know if my idea for a vaulted ceiling would be prohibitively expensive/difficult. Essentially, it's a dual pitched roof with a 7m span, 4m length, 18deg pitch. With a steel ridge beam in place, this puts the rafter span...

    3 Port Valve problem?

I've got an issue that has recently developed in my HW/CH system.. In order to get my boiler to turn on for the hot water, on the controller I must switch the HW to on, then switch the CH heating on & then off. Once I do this the boiler will fire. Could this be the 3 port valve sticking?

Problem with 3 port valve or controller?

I've got an issue with my heating/hot water in that to get the boiler to turn on: I have to switch the heating on on the controller, then switch the hot water on then off. (This also works the other way round). But, just switching on either the CH or HW will not get the boiler to turn on...

    RSJ Bearing

I'm currently planning a single storey rear extension with a knock through into the current living room. Before speaking to a SE, I'd like to clarify if what I'm thinking of doing is possible.. I am hoping to have a steel installed where the current patio doors are, but would like to...
