    thanks, yeah ive used the smaller fischer plugs and they are really good, no movement at all, its a shame as the whole room is decorated and not hes got make a mess of the walls again.

    builder came round and said he will speak to the plumber, he thinks he used the original raw plugs that came with the rad and should have used longer ones to go into the brick. Ive wedged some batten under the radiator and against the floor so hopefully thats enough support for the time being.

    thanks, yes to be honest I think the same way, the guy that was repairing the neighbours property said about our builder that hes a general builder at best, not a roofer. I dont think i can fix the roof on my own, but the flashing i think i can do.
