Hi there, I've got the exact same issue, shows that its heating but never seems to heat up. Our's has been running fine for years up until a few days ago. Did you solve your issue and if so, how?
I tried to do this today, but I couldn't get the Learn button to engage and get the LED's on the bell flashing. I tried pushing it many times but had no luck. I noticed that the button would turn but it felt like I couldn't really push it down at all. Do you have any advice on this? It feels...
Hi all
I have a strange issue, I changed the battery's (BATT-ES1) in my siren a couple months ago and after about a week, the alarm started to show the warning, Siren Wireles Low Batt.
I asked the supplier to send me some new batteries, which they kindly did and I installed them and again the...
Hi there
I wonder if someone here can give me some advice / help on this. In our external wall, the brickwork below the render is in poor condition. You will see in the pictures attached.
One side backs onto the garden, the other is sitting below the decking.
The first question I have is...
Just thought I'd update this thread on what I did.
I brought 15mm strip wood and cut it to lengths to fill the hole, then put Ronseal Wood Filler over the top to fill the gaps. It allowed me to put all the screws in and make it fairly secure.
It's turned out pretty decent!
I've just found some 15mm strip wood that I can get my hands on, I should be able to cut that into shape and fill the hole with some filler on top to give me the ability to screw in the bottom screw.
I was also thinking of the timber solution exactly for that reason. Never heard of the car body filler solution, ill look that up. Whats the best way to get the filler all the way to the back of the hole?
Hi there
I have just replaced all the interior door knobs in my house. The old owners had installed deadlocks on all the doors and now I have large holes in the door that need to be filled.
I have attached an image so its easier to understand what I need to fill.
What's the best way to fill...
Thanks for that advice Martin, yes I am doing it layers, just need another dry day and I should be able to finish it all off, good call about the criss crosses as well!
Just an update, I managed to strip it back and had a chunk of the sill fall away. I cleaned it all up as best I could.
I have now rendered using TOUPRET TOUPRELITH F EXTERIOR MASONRY REPAIR FILLER. Got another layer to do.
I attached some images for viewing.
On top of the stone currently is a mortar render which was done a few years back. I suspect its just the render that needs repair but ill see once i start to strip it back.
I just need a break in the weather now.
