Is there anyway around it? Can I find one that has different sized ends to connect the two?

Oh No, have I bought the wrong shower? It is suppose to arrive tomorrow so I haven't been able to check for sure. Is there a way around this? Can I but different pipe connectors? The rest of the responses sound good though about how to remove. I really hope this new one will fit!
