It's a single oven and everything else works fine.

When I say deformed, it has drooped on one front corner, like it's overheated at some point. The old element has been on there since the oven was new about 12 years. The new one is brand new from AEG. The old one works fine, I was only replacing it, because it had dropped at the corner, but...

Yeah, everything off. I ended up refitting the old one, which still works, it's just deformed and I thought I may as well replace it as I had to replace the oven element. The old one doesn't stay on when everything else is turned. That's why I put it down to the spare wire. Think I'll...

I already tried not connecting one of the white wires that loops. I just taped it up, but the element remained on. It wasn't glowing, but it was hot to touch

Here's the old one still connected. And the new one As you can see there's only 2 spades on the left to connect the 3 white wires. Is there any reason I can't switch the wires and put the 2 blue neutral on the left and the white on the right? Or do I need to try and make the 2 spades on...
