Based on what the officers were told about the suspect they acted 100% correctly. Focus should now be on why they were given duff information as that is the reason he's dead. Don't blame the plod on the ground as they need to react as they did.

I wonder if everyone would be so righteous if the officers had hesitated, he HAD been a terrorist and 100's of innocent passengers had lost their lives? I don't condone this shooting by any means but I don't believe it was unlawful either as the officers on the scene were acting on crap...

I agree with earlier posts. I always use public transport in London and think it's a great way to get about but out in the sticks its just dirty old crap filled with society's low lifes running infrequently if at all and costing a fortune. Car for me every time I'm afraid until they do...
