    Bricked risco agility

Thanks. I managed to resolve the issue. I think the problem was that the update took alot longer than specified in the manual. So after 30minutes I got worried and started reading, then set dipswitch 4 to on and restarted. Once I disabled dipswitch 4 the panel came back after a while. Then I...

Agility 3 I/O module and Inferno Intenso

This was the correct way to do it :-).

    Bricked risco agility

Anyone knows how I can get out of this situation? Scenario: Initiated firmware upgrade through the keypad - should take 15 minutes, half a day later the orange warning light on the main still flashes, no connectivity from cs, cloud or keypad. Is there any way to factory reset/unbrick it? Would...

Agility 3 I/O module and Inferno Intenso

The X10 unit carries recharcheable batteries, so does the Inferno :-). The Risco central unit also carries a battery in case of powerfailure.

Do I need that for security reasons or because the plug-in psu won't cut it? What does 1x6 and 1x2 core mean?

Agility 3 I/O module and Inferno Intenso

Yeah It's DC and plugs directly into the board as the manual says. But the manual also says it's parallell connected to the AC ports so I guess I should be able to charge the inferno from there shouldn't I? But won't the inferno take damage if it's specified to be 12V and the psu is 14.4V? I'm...

Agility 3 I/O module and Inferno Intenso

Nope. Afaik it's a swedish product so it ought to be cheapest in sweden :-). I haven't totally decided if it should be activated in home-mode or only in away-mode yet. I planned to put it on the ground floor and all bedrooms are on the second floor...

Agility 3 I/O module and Inferno Intenso

Yes - I'm definetely going to wear earplugs, but first of all I need to get the wiring right theoretically :-). You can get the inferno at just under 5000 SEK which is about 380 GBP or 530 EURO. I just had a break-in and while the intruders more or less where able to stay around 1-1,5 minutes I...

Agility 3 I/O module and Inferno Intenso

Ok - I think I didn’t understand that I needed to provide separate power for the inferno, I thought that the I/O module could charge the inferno in addition to triggering alarms So like this then(ignoring the tamper for now): 1) Buy a separate 12V dc adapter. 2) + 12V DC adapter -> 12V in...

    Risco Agility 3

Here in sweden we can buy them online and of the shelf as end-user and set them up yourself, I don't know if they send to u.k though - a few sites that sell them: www.uttag181.se www.vikinglarm.se www.alarmbutiken.com Good luck.

Agility 3 I/O module and Inferno Intenso

Thanks, but I think you're on a whole other level than me - I'm a software guy unfortunately :-(, but I would like to understand how this works. I can't deduct from the inferno manual wether it's default open or default closed, is that something that should be obvious or is the manual...

Agility 3 I/O module and Inferno Intenso

Hi - could anyone help me with the wiring to connect these two so that an alarm triggers the Intenso? http://www.owlsecurity.co.uk/W-Less%20Input-Output%20Expander+X-10%20Module%20Installer%20Guide.pdf http://www.klaxonsignals.com/images/Products/docs/datasheet/127.pdf
