Hi. Iv come across some factory finished dark stained laquered interior doors and frames that need freshening up. To be honest iv no idea what to do with them. They have the odd scuff and knock here and there but apart from that are in pretty good condition. Im guessing I need to use some kind...
Hi again, no im afraid that wont work cos we already had an extended warenty for 5 years. Thats whats run out...My clever husband was adamant he wasnt going to pay £75 to renew it again, and one week later.....guess what.. is it dangerous to keep the machine running for as long as poss in...
Thank you Burnerman...sounds like I will have to invest in new washer as suggested. How long do you think I can keep the machine going as it is, and what is the worst that will happen to it. As I cannot afford new machine at the moment. Also what cheap make would you reccomend.
hi again, yeah, when the machine spins and when I turn the drum by hand it makes a horrible loud rumbly noise, havnt taken the back of yet but there is some play when i lift the drum. If it is the bearings, can i change them myself easy enough?
My warenty has just run out on my Hoover 1600 ultracare washer/dryer. Funds are a bit low and I cant afford to replace machine, it is obvious that the bearings need changing becasuse of the noise when machine spins, but apart from that the machine is still good. Can I replace them myself...

Not a good idea to use unibond or pva if your going to be painting. Two mist coats one thinned down matt about 25%, second about 15%, then two full coats. Should be fine.
Be a bit careful here Matt as 50/50 mist is a bit too much. More like the first coat being thinned down about 25% then another by 15% then your full coats.
Exactly what iv been wondering..........do you think he means the dreaded 3 letter word......
wait for it.......
PVA.....rghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhh hh h!
