wallpaper on fresh paint - possible?

Hello! i need to paint some dark paint in the strips where the wallpaper will join. It's wallpaper that says "best results from pasting onto wall - not wallpaper".

If i paint today - can i wallpaper tomorrow? it is dulux emulsion paint

Are you by any chance trying to disguise any gaps you may have when butting up?

I should be ok get a bit of heat in the room to make sure its nicely dry

Watch the paste the wall stuff...it doesnt give or become pliable and is a nightmare when your cutting around shapes etc
