I’ve just painted the corner of a wall that is adjoining a wall that I’m about to finish off wallpapering (thought it would be easier to paint corner of wall before fitting last but if wallpaper so I don’t have to masking tape the wallpaper to paint).

Wallpaper going where grey paint is (below pic)

I looked online and AI said to wait 2-4 weeks for paint to fully cure before wallpapering?

I was hoping to be able to wallpaper after paint dries - ie 6 hours?

Edit: do I have to wait 2-4 weeks or will wallpaper stick once it’s touch dry?
