Cheers all, agree ten years is short. Though I do think this is a fair bit older, it had a sticker on it from manufacturer which still said 'Corgi'!

Worcester Combi Boiler leaking from Bottom

Appreciate any help on this guys. Noticed the boiler is leaking at the bottom from the rear left hand side. Pics attached for info, and I've highlighted where the water drops are travelling from. For information this leak does not affect the water pressure, haven't had to top up since this has...

Help needed to remove connection on Pull out kitchen tap

It does move a little bit but the metal flex connected doesn't seem to budge. I do have a sore thumb now! I assume there is some sort of knack to this, just haven't got it yet!

Help needed to remove connection on Pull out kitchen tap

Hi, I'm trying to disconnect the two pieces in the pic unsuccessfully, has anyone else had similar experience or something like this? It appears to be a kind of push fit connection with a button or lever to help release but cannot seem to do so. Any tips on how to separate the items would be...

    New garage door

Looking at replacing a battered and broken up and over garage door with something more functional. Thinking a roller door as would require less opening space. Possibly motorised to save effort opening. Are there any particular brands to look out for or avoid? Is aluminium ok and strong...

    Leaking flue on combi

Hi, I have a Worcester green Star combi 30si. The component which I believe is the flue going outside the garage from boiler has a leak at two of the joints as you can possibly see in the attached pic. Simple question, is this a DIY'able fix or is it compulsory for this to be seen to by a...

Another Hive thread! Connecting to a Greenstar 30si combi.

Got you, that makes sense... Stem's diagram is the idea scenario. However my problem is that my current cable is missing the extra wire I need to connect to Ns, it only has 4 wires + earth.

Another Hive thread! Connecting to a Greenstar 30si combi.

Thanks, based on boiler manual all wiring to a thermostat goes from Lr, Ls, Ns. I guess since the Hive says it should be connected to a permanent live, is that the reason you say I should not be using the Ls? What is the impact of using Ls instead?

Another Hive thread! Connecting to a Greenstar 30si combi.

Thanks for the reply and advice! If I understand correctly the diagram below should suffice. If I was to change wiring at the boiler, Id need an additional wire in my current 5 core flex (is there such a thing as a 6 core?!) so I could connect the Ns to N on the Hive receiver. The alternative...
