I have a three Area setup (main house, bike store, apartment). If all three Areas are armed, and i go in to the house and enter my code / touch my fob, then all three Areas are disarmed. I want to be able to only turn off the Area i'm entering, or perhaps to be able to select which Area I want...

Erm, yes. What should it look like?

Neither my Engineer no my only User has an option to Arm. Only the Master has this option. For the User, I've programmed a fob, but left it somewhere else, so I'm just typing in the code. The first option I get is to Omit Zones, with no option anywhere in the menu to Arm. Does that sound right?

OK, this is fixed. For other with the same problem - the metal bit on the tamper switch (the white thing) was out of line and needed pushing sideways a bit. Thanks all for your responses.

Here are some close ups. Good news - the alert disappears if I press the metal clip. Is there supposed to be a bit of plastic somewhere to apply pressure to the micro switch when it's attached to the back box?

Ok, there doesn't seem to be a switch on the back of the box, photo here

Thanks handymanjo, I'd taken the gubbins out of the back box and couldn't see anything, but I'll take the back box off the wall and see if there's a switch on the back that isn't touching the wall properly.
