Outer wall goes right up to inbetween rafters - no air gap

I'm working on our roof - replacing bottom section of underlay and other things - and I see that the outer wall comes up and is at the same level as the rafters. Should I remove a few bricks from the top of the wall inbetween the rafters so that air can get up into the roof? Haven't had...

Does it matter if I'm missing a roof joist in a pitched roof? (1)

Sorry made a mistake again - obviously it doesn't sits on 5 other rafters. The base sits on the outer wall, and I'm guessing the top is attached to the base of the shorn off rafters along it's top edge

Does it matter if I'm missing a roof joist in a pitched roof? (1)

It runs under the edge of the dormer so quite awkward to get to. I guess I just thought if the leak is fixed, and the dormer kind of sits on the wall at the base, and presumably is attached to the edge of the shorter rafters along it's top edge, then is there any need.

New PCB in older Vaillant ecoTEC plus 618 R1 not responding to request for heat

I've sorted this now. After speaking to Vaillant about 7 times, one person there said an engineer would need to put some new links in, another said it hadn't been wired up to manufacturer specification then cut me off (I actually got cut off from them 6 times before getting it sorted). And...

New PCB in older Vaillant ecoTEC plus 618 R1 not responding to request for heat

Firstly, I'm not going to attempt to do any rewiring my self - but I do have a Gas Safe plumber on the job currently (waiting for an internal pipe that is leaking a bit), and I want to get informed on our situation so when he comes back we can get it sorted asap. I have a Y plan heating setup...
