No sure if the bath actually comes with a wooden one and plythn. These don't have the standard lip on the top like the acrylic panels?

But imagine they would have to screw into the under side of the lip which would only be 5mm ish

Thanks apparently it's a more expensive bath then the ones with the timber built under the lip. It does feel solid. How does the panel usually attach to these? On the others I used to slide the top lip of the bath panel in between the front lip of the bath and the attached timber. Thanks

The baths I have done before have had a pre install timber batten under the bath lip. This then sat on the batten I had fixed to the wall. Has anyone fit acrylic ones that don't have any pre installed timber under the bath lip?

Hi I have an acrylic bath to fit. It's a cask acrylic one. I have fit the acrylic ones before with timbre around the baths lip and a cradle for the legs. This one has a metal plate that screws into the bottom of the bath for the legs, no cradle. Also there is no timber around the baths side...

Thanks and then the pressure reliefs are they abit pot look whether they reseal after the EV reset? PRVs on boilers can be an issue do to sludge etc stopping them from resealing.

Thanks it's the expansion vessel is above the uvc. And tap is open. Do you definitely need to disconnect from the cold supply to truly get the correct reading. Or would opening the tap be enough

I'm g3 register just wanted to check when recharging a vessel on a invented cylinder to 3 bar, as long as the diagram isn't at fault I only need to open a hot tap to drain system and leave open when I test the pressure and recharge there need to remove the vessel

Do you mean if the mains pressure is actually lower then 3 bar you'd charge to around 2 bar instead of 3?

Would be 3 bar, as 3 bar pressure relief

Thanks yes I have my G3. Have a pump etc. is a remote vessel yes. It needs removing ideally to repressure it

If you go to a prv dripping and cold water expansion vessel has no charge. Do most people recharge? We have to depressorise and remove to do that. So it it easyier to just fit a new vessel ?
