Thanks for your messages. Oldbuffer i did all these tests with my tester. And got no continuity. And as for testing continuity of immersion i tested between 2 brass posts and got 18ohms. And tested between the thermostat and body of the heater no continuity.

Hello people im today had an immersion heater tripping the board.its a sunvic VK 4451. Ive asked my plumber for a quote but he hasent got back to me yet. Would this be easy to replace and what is a reasonable quote for a plumber to replace this please. Its 18” i think.

Yes terry compression elbow,deffinatley. I just couldent work out why the bottom bit freeley slip up and down the pipe,but of course its height adjustable. Its me first waste i had my hacksaw ready for cutting pipe.

Just a quick update. I ordered some 3/4” taps off amazon.fitted them.and gladley,hot is no longer trickling out ,its at full flow. Thanks god i dont have to wait a full hour for the bath to fill up.so that mixer tap was crap. I won,£28 taps.

so madrab if i fitted these half inch taps,would it solve the reduced hot water flow. I mean im not to fussed about fancy mixer taps .

I havent got a photo but yea.its Connected with small bore flexi hose.and removed this original copper piping.

Hello people. Ive just had a new bath and tap fitted by a plumber. After he left i realised the hot water flow on the hot it half it was on my old basic taps. I have a copper water tank. Am i right in assuming this is the new crappy mixer tap that was fitted causing this problem people.
