What fixings to use on a brick slip wall.

Thanks for the advice. The brick slips are 30mm thick so guess I'll need to find some fixings that can accommodate the width of the plaster board plus adhesive plus 30mm of brick. Got a feeling this could end up very messy haha

What fixings to use on a brick slip wall.

I have a plasterboard wall that has been faced with 30 mm brick slips. I am wanting to put up a few shelves to hang pans etc off and I am unsure what type of fixings will be best to use for this. Would it be best to drill all the way through the brick slips and into the plaster and use plaster...

Drain height. Anything I can do?

    Small garden wall

Thanks Woody. So just to clarify. If I laid either the bottom course or bottom two courses double skin I could then lay the top course single skin. I'm guessing this provides a bit more strength than fully single skin but not quite as much as laying them flat?

    Removing old patio and replacing

Cheers for the reply both, appreciated. Just for me to clarify. Once I remove all the old sand and weeds and get the height correct I would then lay 30 to 50mm of sharp sand. Then were control. And then lay New paving? Cheers

    Removing old patio and replacing

Hi all. New here. I inherited a patio about 8m x 4m. Quite old and had became quite uneven. I have taken up the old 600 x 600 flag stones and plan to replace with something a bit more decorative. I was hoping that given that a patio was already down then the work to prepare the base could be...
