    It is well insulated. 50mm Kingspan all around, except underfloor. Windows don't open and I would prefer to keep door closed to keep noise coming in down to a minimum. Perhaps the plastic reflective coating is a good idea as I don't mind too much about visibility out.

    Thanks, very useful. In terms of exterior painting, we have heard conflicting advice. Some people prefer to do the work in summer whilst others prefer not to do it summer. Unless the temperatures are freezing or it is raining, should I be wary of having the work completed in February?
