Hi, I'm building a wooden shed/workshop. It measures about 6.0m (l) x 3.7m (w) x 2.5m (h). Build is between 1-2m away from boundry so doesn't have to comply with building regs but I am limited to 2.5m overall height. Roof with have OSB3 decking and a single layer of felt. Shed, timber base frame, below ground level 6"

Hello, I'm looking for some advice. I plan to build a 20x12 shed on a timber frame foundation. Question is if I were to place the frame below ground level (say 6 of the 8 inch timber), what measures should/could be taken to ensure adequate drainage and damp proofing? The timber frame, 4 8x2s...

    Toilet flush issue

Can't feel anything, its just smooth with three or four holes on either side of the water inlet hole. If you're refering to a spreader there isn't one unfortunately. Toilet flush issue

I have another toilet which I just checked and I can see what has been called a spreader by the entrance point of water into the pan. My newly installed toilet doesn't have this. I imagine that is important. How would I go about correcting that? Many thanks for the comments.

    Toilet flush issue

I did replace an cistern with a 6L one. I will try readjusting the level and settings (again) of the internal parts and see if it makes a difference.

    Toilet flush issue

I have recently installed a new toilet. Everything seems to have gone well. All connections are sound, no leaks. Except for when I flush the toilet, as water flows out the flush pipe into the toilet it sprays water up over the ring onto the seat and the floor. It seems fine up until the entrance...

Hello, I'll soon be doing a small bathroom install for my mother in law. Currently in the process of doing my research and I have a query for the walls. The room is on the ground floor. Two walls are external and the other two are brick walls. All have a base coat, a skim of plaster and were...
