Vaillant Ecofit Pure Target temperature too low

I think it must be. I didn't understand what you meant by "front panel". That's what I've been using to access the codes too. Anyway, all's well the ends well :)

    Cannot remove ceiling light fitting

After reading that the hole might not be big enough, I used a junior hacksaw blade to enlarge it one side, then pried it out with a screwdriver. Then I found that this light does not have a replaceable bulb. £13 replacement.

    Cannot remove ceiling light fitting

I can't pull it any lower. The ceiling here is thin plywood. It seems as if the plastic outer parts visible at the extreme two edges of the photo are stopping it.

Vaillant Ecofit Pure Target temperature too low

OK problem solved. I forgot to look at the consumer radiator temperature setting! That sort of advice would have been helpful. I won't be using this forum for plumbing advice anymore though.

    Cannot remove ceiling light fitting

I installed these ceiling lights a few years ago but cannot remember how to remove them. They are sprung but the springs are not visible (see photos). Any ideas? TIA

Vaillant Ecofit Pure Target temperature too low

I understand but I'm a DIYer of 40 years and am not modifying the gas side. I'll perservere on my own.

Vaillant Ecofit Pure Target temperature too low

No ebus or exterior sensor. No F codes. A real mystery

Vaillant Ecofit Pure Target temperature too low

I recently solved a problem with the DHW on this boiler, with the help of some members here. In doing so, I replaced the diverter valve, pressure sensor and eventually the main board. It turned out that the replacement pressure sensor was also faulty. Problem solved. Great hot water. As soon...

Ecofit pure 830 hot water problem

Well it was a faulty replacement flow sensor after all. The packaging was slightly damaged, so perhaps it was damaged in transit. However, I replaced the diverter valve and PCB earlier in an attempt to fix the problem. Now I have great HW but the boiler will not fire up high for heating. I'll...

Ecofit pure 830 hot water problem

Yes, I agree it is strange. I assumed that the rates of flow and difference in heating flow/return temperatures allowed the software to calculate the HW temperature.

Ecofit pure 830 hot water problem

I wondered about this too. I don't know where it is. I can only see the flow/return sensors on the parts list. On the previous boiler, a Halstead Finest Gold, the DHW thermistor needed replacing every couple of years.

Ecofit pure 830 hot water problem

D35 set to 0. I'll try another flow sensor, as they are not expensive. Thanks.

Ecofit pure 830 hot water problem

Yes thanks Johntheo5. I don't see any second stage parameter access in the manual. D35 gives the current position of the diverter valve.

Ecofit pure 830 hot water problem

5 months outside 2 year warranty unfortunately. Yes replaced these parts. There is no d70 code but the diverter valve operates correctly, as seen in other D codes. I'm wondering of the new flow sensor is faulty. Happened to me once when I bought a replacement condenser for a car.

Ecofit pure 830 hot water problem

OK, just returned from a month's holiday. Replaced PCB, flow sensor and diverter valve. CH working fine. HW codes oscillate between S11, S13 and S15, with very occasional S14 firing. Mains water pressure 15l/min. Mystified.

Ecofit pure 830 hot water problem

2 year old Ecofit Pure 830 has intermittent how water, recently none. Heating OK. Replaced diverter valve and pressure sensor. Next step PCB replacement?
