Hi, I am looking to wire a Pyronix pir detector (KX10dp) using a 6 core cable. Out of the box, do i need to make any changes to the detector? Does the detector come preset as double pole? I am planning on using the double pole method. Thanks

Hi there, Could anybody please help I have a Scantronic 9651 control panel. Recently the alarm is displaying a Zone tamper which cycles through from 01 to 08. I have seen a Globel tamper before, but never a Zone tamper. What does this mean and what is the cause of this? Thanks

There are a few youtube videos for this panel as it is quite old, i would say at least 20. The panel you have may be a 9448 or a 9448+.

Again thank you all for the info. So If i wanted white comfort LED's, there is only 1 bell box currently on the market which has them and would have to be HkC SABB? Although Odyssey X and Deltabell have white LED's, they change colour depending on lens.

Is that the Risco Novagard 2 or Gardtech Novagard you were referring to? What colour are the comfort LED's on a Risco Novagard 2? Thanks again

The Odyssey X white lens cover is actually opaque white and LED's dont shine through very well at all. Pyronix also do a white base but now sure how well their LED's will shine through. The comfort LED's on Odyssey X have a brightness of 100mcd not sure about pyronix

The lens cover for Texecom Odyssex X is 3mm. Do we know how thick the Deltabell X covei is?

Any comments on pyronix deltabell X or plus. Pyronix also uses white LED's are they just as bright?

I read the grade 3 external sounder monitors battery health every 24 hours. If you wire the grade 3 sounder as grade 2, will it not go off after 24 hours if the 6th fire is not connected?

The only problem is HKC only do 110dB box whereas Odyssey X are 109db or 115db twin piezo. I guess odyssey X is the one to go for.

I have done some research and found HKC SABB bell boxes to also have white comfort LEDs.
