Bell Box Advice - Flashguard vs Orisec ES-330 vs Pyronix Deltabell X vs Texecom Odyssey X-B

It requires lateral thinking they have shown the wiring and programming for there panel which is all you can expect them to do

I didn’t see how the alarm output is what you were asking for earlier.

End of the day the principal is the same.

You supply 12V red lead ground/0V black lead and back light is powered on or off based on the condition the output is set to that you wired to the back light.

Orisec have similar outputs that can be programmed.

To flash with the strobe just use the strobe output connected to it.

To get the back light on or off at night you have to wire it to a photo cell so it comes on when it gets dark positioning may be an issue.

Otherwise it’s programming on at x and off at y problem with that is it’s summer day light is different winter day light hours.

You can use holiday times to make certain points of the year.

So summer you have on at 10pm and off at 6am winter on at 5pm and off at 8am.

But no idea what you really want to achieve.

However the output is acting like a switch so power does or doesn’t flow through the back light.

but if you wanted it to do both ie flash with the strobe when activated and on in at night then you need a custom output on Texecom or a chain on Orisec.

I dare say Orisec can help you as an engineer program up whatever you want it to do in terms of on and off criteria. You will then after test it to see it it works

If you want me to do the donkey work and test it for you I would have to charge for the time it takes.
But I would still need to know the conditions you want it to work on

You have the bellbox, you know how to wire it, you just need to program the condition correctly.

All that I want to achieve is for the backlight to switch off when the bell box is going off.

I have a sounder so I can do the testing.

Thanks very much for your help and time buddy.

you have the answers, on the orisec panel similar outputs exist.

The CP20 has 5 panel outputs as standard.

so wire it to one of them. output 4 is programmed alarm at default and the attribute can be inverted, its the second option
