    Rewire cost

    Any sparks on here that can give a rough estimate on the cost to rewire a 3 bed house with dining room and garage.. just a rough idea.... already had a quote of 8k...I know its hard to price without seeing it in the flesh but any thoughts are appreciated

    Kitchen plinth lights

    Can anyone recommend plinth lights that can be wired to the light circuit..i have a double light switch in the kitchen... one works the main light and another works ceiling leds.... there is spare cable that's comes from the leds under the kitchen cabinets....it must have been under cabinet...

    Im looking to install a plinth heater in my kitchen and the booklet says it needs a 13 amp fused spur.. there is a double wall socket behind the oven that's not currently in use..... can a 13 amp fused spur be run from the double socket in order to power the plinth heater......or can i put a 13...

    36 mm waste pipe adaptor

    My sink plastic waste is the old 36mm and i can only find 32mm or 40mm elbows and pipe....is there an adaptor available anywhere or are there any stockists of 36mm...cheers Just checked again ...the plastic welded on bends say 36mm so would that mean the pipe is 34 mm...

    Leak round new taps

    We just finished our bathroom but after using the shower i decided to pop off the bath panel to make sure there was no leaks round the silicone only to find that there is water getting through from the black plastic bolts underneath the taps....the space is too tight to get a spanner in to nip...

    Silicone round bath

    Once you have filled your bath and sealed round it with silicone...when do you let the water out . Do you leave it over night till its dry or do you empty right away?
