Sorry to bother you again Steve. Would you have any advice for me on how to make sure this concrete bolt goes through the brick? I’m having trouble getting it in with a socket. Bolt is 10mm. I used an 8mm drill piece in the wall as suggested to allow this to be a tight fit, however I’m...

Great, thanks. If I were to use 120mm concrete bolts through a 100m x 100m fence post, with this countersunk into the post around 20mm, would the 40mm different be enough to anchor it in the brick? Thanks

Anchor fence post to brick wall

Sorry I meant a 4x4 post. The gate is going to be 2 metres high so would prefer a stronger anchor. Ah fab, so you’d recommend the 12mm drill piece for M12, the only reason I suggested the 14mm for this is because Screwfix advised on the website to do so, however It makes sense to have a tighter...

Anchor fence post to brick wall

I have looked around, and I’m thinking of using the easy fix studs M12 x 160mm with the resin, giving me 60mm into the wall taking into account the 100x100 post. This would work okay with a 14mm drill piece put into the post and wall? Many thanks

Anchor fence post to brick wall

Many thanks for your reply. Silly question, with the resin would you put this on the face of the 4x4 post first, or apply it to the wall and then push the face of the post in to it? Thanks

Anchor fence post to brick wall

Thanks for your help. This concrete bolt looks great, so you didn’t have to pilot hole into the brickwork prior to screwing this through the timber, and wall?

    New toilet cistern

Thanks for all your help. I have bought the Skylo kit, and will keep the original cistern. Having previously fitted one of these, I had issues with leaks, as I trusted the nuts, bolts and donut to do their job!
