Being a Vauxhall Movano should be a big enough theft deterrent in itself.

Maybe identify where the control module is and check for water ingress. As said diagnostic equipment should allow you to test the system but it has to be very good equipment which most dont have.

Resurrecting a Citroen Saxo VTR garage find after 10 years!

You need to go back to basics and check if the starter solenoid is getting the correct voltage. A test light made from an old headlight bulb is useful for this, something to put a load on the circuit.

    What impact wrench please?

Makita are good and it makes sense if you have the batteries, as above though regarding tight wheel nuts, only the really beastly ones will stand a chance of doing them.

Impact wrench or driver to change a wheel?

I have an 18 volt Ryobi and it will fail with an even slightly over tightened wheel nut, some are better than others though. I do use it on installing wheel nuts but always just make sure its on its lowest setting for tightening and then check with the torque wrench.

    Dpf cleaning or buying

I think the italian tune up can also make things worse due to more soot but maybe thats just an old wives tale. The correct procedure is to drive it with the revs raised slightly for longer periods as suggested earlier in the thread.

    Dpf cleaning or buying

Cheap aftermarket dpfs are not very good so just take care with what you buy if you do. The cleaning may work fine done properly. What sort of mileage are you doing?

    Dash Cam Fitting

You could go headlining but its probably a similar distance so the cable may not reach, im not sure if they do extension cables. I dont think you will get it though the grommets so may have to put up with it popping out near the parcel shelf somewhere, i would say going through the lower section...

How does one get into car repair for a hobby?

Find an easy to work on car, get a haynes manual and start with basic servicing. Avoid buying anything with engine management lights on which have a description "its only a sensor needed" Something like a Mazda Mx5 would be a good car but sadly the rust is an issue so you need to be careful.
