    Hi all Apologies if this is in the wrong forum. I am going to attempt to level my shed floor. It's a combination of tarmac and concrete flags. All in good condition but just looks odd. The area is 3 metres squared. I am thinking of using mapei 3240 for this job which says it covers 6 square...

    Hi all I need to extend the flue on my bolier either about 3 metres horizontally or I could potentially go out through the roof of my new car port. Firstly are the flues extensions bolier specific? And secondly is this a DIY job? Cheers in advance

    Advice on minimum shed roof pitch

    Hi Folks, It is basically a 9 foot wide lean to that is 11 foot long. Gonna turn it into a shed eventually. Struggling for headroom so want rafters as high as possible. Would the fall in the bubble picture be ok for felt? it drops about 2 inch over 9 foot. Cheers all

    yeah fair do's i was just being lazy. 4x2's with a max of 450mm centres it is then :) Whats this OSB board all about? OSB vs PLY? For the roof.

    sorry to be a pain....... is there anyway i can use 3x2's? for the joists? 9 foot span/depth. Just find them a bit easier to handle working on my own. Can i put a brace down to centre maybe?

    Brilliant info cheers. The spacing of the joists was going to be my next question :) So it is 11 foot in length and 9 foot deep..........could i get away with 4x2 joists? If spaced correctly?

    bloody hell never expected this much response (y) awesome.......i have lean-to envy now so.... ok the joists need to be notched into the wall ledger/plate? Are the ledger and plate the same thing? As in the bit i need to bolt to the wall? I am going to put a wooden roof on it, would 1/2 inch...
