    IMERSION HEATER

Hi I have a cupboard that used to have an imersion heater in it. The is still a FCU with a live supply. My question is, is there a way of safely connecting a light to the supply. Can I change the fuse from 20A to 5A on the consumer unit ? Would this work and be safe ? Thanks, Dom.
