We're having an internal aircon unit fitted at work, no external compressor as we're in a conservation area, so it's all internal apart from the vents and a condensate pipe. The builder says this pipe needs to discharge into a downpipe, which looks unsightly, and I reckon as long as it slopes...

No, not just you. They bodged that too, but they're coming to do that and it should be an easier fix.
