I could try that, just don't want to damage the plaster! It could be though.... Wall's hollow sounding in places, solid in others....so I guess it's timber behind with dot and dab plasterboard? (Sorry I'm no expert!)

So we've removed the wallpaper on one wall that the previous owners had on. Yes there is, a fused switch which turns the controller and boiler on and off. It's next to the boiler in the utility room. Ok live and switched live, I was just reading the L/N off the back plate markings!

So I ended up with the Drayton Wiser 3 channel system, looking to remove both the existing downstairs thermostat and bedroom thermostat and just have the Wiser ones in their place. Plan will be to have the main bedroom heating controlled by the Wiser Thermostat and then TRV's everywhere else...

Ok, it'll be On/Off I believe as it's a Worcester Bosch Ri so don't think it supports OpenTherm? I would be happy to bypass the bedroom zone and just have a single zone, don't think I'd be missing out on much doing it this way. Question is, is it simple to do that? I was hoping to install this...

Hi, So I've just purchased a Drayton Wiser 2 channel system with a couple of TRV's, possibly a bit prematurely....but I'm not really sure about this stuff to be honest! I have a thermostat in the downstairs hallway and one in the main bedroom which just controls that bedroom temperature. Also...
