    Yes, the design seems ridiculous! The supplied fixings are the plastic L brackets, which I had to trim to even fit within the holes! Is it acceptable to just use silicone? It’s in the middle of a large format tile.

    Hi Andy, Thank you, that’s exactly what’s on the waste but the top pipe for the concealed cistern is fixed so it must be slid towards the wall.
