Thanks - I live down on the south coast - seems like Acropol is the standard for covering firewalls - assume it's a no no then?

Can anyone tell me what material this is that is very commonplace in my area for putting on top of firewalls? I assume some sort of roofing felt, but obviously can't be sure. If anyone can give me pro's and con's of this compared to say acrypol, I'd be grateful! Thanks!

Hey all, I've had water ingress in my loft, so finally got access to the roof today and found some interesting bits. There's cracks in the firewall, and also looks like some sort of repair has been tried. Whats my best option here? I'd really like to avoid re-rendering all of it as it's shared...
