Now that the downstairs toilet is fitted, the time has come to connect the permanent water supply to it.......the thing is when I connected the temporary supply, I over tightened the conex fitting, and partially stripped the threads of the plastic pipe at the bottom of the close coupled...

Hoping to hang this internal "Lincoln" door (I know them as Colonist) tomorrow......the question is, how much can I safely take off the bottom . I know they are like egg boxes inside, and just wondered how much I can safely take off ?

I'm told that Regs, have changed recently, and that now, when installing a downstairs toilet, off a kitchen area, you don't have to have TWO doors between them, providing that there is a hand basin in the toilet area..... is that correct ?......

In the process of installing a downstairs toilet, and just discovered that I can't drill through the concrete floor......a hammer drill just won't touch it......I'm told that now days a lot of plumbers use a silicone product to stick the porcelain down.......what's the best stuff to use please ?
