Hi mate, i was told i could remove it if i want (and/or put some new boards up with battons. It does serve as a bit of insulation from the elements so maybe is worth doing. Ultimately, i had some water coming in which had caused the boards to sag over he years. Cheers

Well I've got the hinges off and can move the door around but it's still stuck in place because of the multi point lock. There's a hook top and bottom that engages when locked. Photo attached (same back door on my house). Actually I can't see how you'd get the door out the frame or the...

Yeah I'll maybe just need to get a new set of hinges. I went ahead and drilled the cover and was able to get them off. I'll try removing the hinge screws now and see if I can get the door off. My only worry is that the multi point lock has a couple of hook type bolts when it's locked.

I think this is a pretty similar hinge. So I think maybe I'll need to take a shot are drilling where the screw might be.

I tried wedging it up with a chisel but its not budging. I'm assuming there's a screw on the other side.

I think they're just for adjustment. I think the fix in fixed into the frame side part of the hinge then the door drops down on to it, it doesn't look like the pin comes out unfortunately.
