I'm replacing a bath waste run which currently goes into an old 2.5" iron pipe (not completely accessible at the mo as the bath is still in place). Are there any adapters available for the connection between the 40mm waste pipe and the old 2.5" pipe? Thanks

Did I mention boiler is now situated in an extension. The original radiators and pipework in the main house remain unchanged.

Confused here. I'm trying to bleed radiators in a vented system after draining and refilling. Oil fired boiler is downstairs but pumps hot water upstairs first. It looks like downstairs rads are then fed from upstairs. With me so far? All rads filled okay (and bled) from header tank but when...

I intend to fit a new toilet downstairs. The existing iron soil pipe from upstairs runs outside immediately adjacent to where the new toilet will be. Can anyone advise me of the best way to connect into this stack (having first made a hole in the wall of course!!)? :wink:

I'm looking to run a hot and cold supply from my kitchen to an outside shed for a washing machine. A 'DIY Expert' friend advised me to use barrier pipe buried underground as this will not crack if frozen. Is this right? It would not be the first time he was wrong!!
