    My outside stopcock is not working it reduces the pressure of the water mains but doesn't stop it and the water board recon it could take up to 2 years to fix ....My problem is that my internal stopcock has boken also (100 year old handle sheared off in my hand) this leaves me in a tricky...

    Thanks for that Splinter, there is just a wall on one side ...Is fixing the newel post difficult ....I have an existing opne but I want to replace it ?

    one way switch

    there is a red connected to the live black to n and bare wire which Im sure is the earth the wires from the light are brown to L Blue to N and yellow/green to earth Im sorry I cant provide a photo at the moment but be grateful for any ideas you may have ....thanks

    one way switch

    Hi I have a one way light switch which I have rewired ....Im am pretty sure I rewired it the same way as I found it but now it wont switch off it remains permanently on. Anybody got any ideas as to what the problem may be ?? Many thanks
