replacing cast iron soil pipes with pvc

I'm replacing an existing cast iron soil pipe with pvc. There is a clay collar at ground level, and i'm wondering how to seal the pvc to clay connection as the clay collar is wider than the pipe. In the event of me breaking this clay collar whilst removing the cast iron pipe - what are my options?

    Connecting different sized cabling

Thanks for your reply I have already cut into the 6mm cable and attached it to a junction box (socket is downstairs cable is upstairs and was easier to spur off) so if i run 6mm to the fcu are you saying it shouldn't be a problem running 2.5 or below from the FCU to powershower, only i don't...

Can i run a spur from an immersions fcu

thanks securepark can i then from the double pole, spur 2.5 coz i have to chase it and that would be a pain with 4mm by the way the manufacturer recommends 3Amp fcu so its not pulling that much power. Yes jb is 30 amps.

Can i run a spur from an immersions fcu

After a bit of trial and error switching on and off fuses i discovered that the cable i thought was the cooker cable is infact just a radial circuit cable serving the washing machine and one socket, the cable i think is 4mm twin core so i used this instead of immersion socket for shower. I've...
