The life of a combi boiler?

yea i`d say at least 10 years from a half decent combi, providing its fitted properly, system is clean & a decent inhibitor fitted. they dont last as long as the old type of boiler because theres so much more inside them to go wrong, pump, diverter valve, fan, pres. switch etc etc ... you...

    pipe required to gas hob?

its not an expensive job, you may as well get a corgi fitter to do it for you , all new gas installations have to be registerd now (including gas hobs ) I would be supprised if you found a fitter to put his name to the installation if he hadn`t carried out the work.

Gas cooker point seal done right?

i think leak detector around the plug should do the trick, we were told at collage that if only one joint was broken there was no need for the use of a manometer i.e boiler servicing where only the union was broken.

Combination boiler install in bed room, safe?

you can install a room sealed appliance in a bedroom, but there are minimum clearences regarding position of flue ect. also you are right to consider the noise issue , i suppose it depends how deep a sleeper you are, most modern boilers arn`t that noisey. Could it go in the loft ?

    Boiler Training Course

if its ticking, it means the motor is working, so no use changing the syncron motor, the ticking noise is coming from the teeth inside slipping over. Replace the whole thing

Central Heating - One Pipe System

one pipe ring mains are quite an old fashioned system in a normal domestic home these days, but basically the idea is to get the water in the ring curculating nice & hot & then it drifts through the rads via convection. It may well be the "ring " could be "sludged up "a little or perhaps even...

    Sabre Combi Boiler

i would`t worry about that Vokera Sabre, i`ve fitted about 20 of these things in the last 12 months (29 H.E. ) & provided its been done correctly & flushed out & inhibitor installed, there wont be a prob. i've had no comebacks on any of mine so far anyway
