    Window water leak?

The soffit has lost its silicone seal at this very window, but simply re-sealing this might not be the solution of the problem lies above.

Hi it’s looks like I didn’t escape Storm Babet after all, does anyone know how to go about diagnosing this? Looks like it’s under the facias /soffits, but who knows how to get into them?

    DIY Decking

Hi, I’ve decided to attempt and commit to a decking project in the back yard. I’d like to extend from the current decking sleeper to the fence and pretty much half this lawn (up to the 90° jut out. Is the grassed area okay to lay up to the fence with decking providing I fully prep the ground...

    Condensate Pipe Leak

Hi, I took a random trip up to my attic today to check on mouse traps....only to find the condensate pipe was disconnected on the boiler.... Luckily, there was a bowl positioned directly underneath which took most of the water, but there was some overflow.... I re-connected it, however, I am...

Central Heating - big noise when turning off

Hi I have a fairly new boiler installation (since new extension). The builder suggested we upgraded the 20 yr old one with a newer more efficient unit as we were having major works. But also relocating it to the attic space. All fine.... I have a few problems however.... The heating is...

    3 red wire light switch

Yes I switched all lighting switches off on the main unit and tried all different combos of termination, in both the holes (L2 is blocked off) I suspect that one was loose and that’s why it was flickering hence one popped out when I opened. None appear to be folded over ?
