Baxi 105e combi and rads gradually failing

I will try turning the working rads off tomorrow. It just seems strange that the rads furthest from the bolier began to cool first even upstairs. The two that are left working are the nearest to the boiler.

Baxi 105e combi and rads gradually failing

Do you have to drain the whole system to check the filter? Yes, not sure how long we have had the boiler. It just seems about 12 years.

Baxi 105e combi and rads gradually failing

Had my system power flushed about 2 months ago and everything was working well. Recently the downstairs rads stopped getting as warm as before, then after another week they are now stone cold. All upstairs rads were working as normal. Now only 2 out of 4 upstairs rads are still warm. All rads...

Baxi 105e banging and pressure spikes on heating

Had a heating guy remove a radiator in the kitchen at the weekend. Unfortunately he left just as we switched the heating back on and we followed not long after. Came back after 2 hours to find the boiler had alarmed out with a fan / flu error. This must have happened almost immediately as all...

Remove brick pillar from garage wall

Sorry, just re-read my post and its maybe not to clear. The brick pillar is a square section built into the wall about 50% along its length. Someone told me that it provides support incase a gust of wind hits the wall side on. The wall in question is adjacent to the house with a small passage...

Remove brick pillar from garage wall

The problem is that the garage is quite narrow. The brick pillar is right where the car door opens, making it impossible to get out of all but the smallest of cars. Can all or some of this pillar be removed without having an effect on the wall, or is there something that can be attached to the...

    Baxi 105E hot water problem

Hi Guys, For info, actual problem was a blocked DHW Heat Exchanger. Boiler heated up to max temp very quickly and the flame modulating was not enough to prevent the boiler overheating, hence it would cut out for a several seconds.

    Baxi 105E hot water problem

Yes, the water gets hot (as hot as normal), but it cycles between hot & cold as the burner switches on and off. Steve

    Baxi 105E hot water problem

When hot water is required the boiler fires up as normal. It heats up to the maximum 80 degrees and runs for 5 seconds or so before the flame goes out (DHW light remains on). The boiler then cools to 60 degrees before firing up again. This on off cycle then continues as long a tap is open. It...

Baxi 105e Combi & Mira 415 Shower problem

The problem I have is that the burners cut out for several seconds or so when showering. When this happens the DHW light stays on though. I seem to have warm water for 40 seconds followed by 10 seconds of cold. I cannot replicate this fault when using hot taps. I have recently replaced the...

Hello & Baxi 105e Hot Water problem - again

Firstly hello to all. As the subject suggests, I have a Baxi 105e that now produces no hot water. I can get hot water if the heating is on, albeit not as hot. After a lot of searching on here it appears that the Pressure Differential Valve Diaphragm may be at fault. However before I start...
