Mix the finish in a bucket, dont leave it in the bucket to long as it will set get it out onto a board. Stick it on walls or ceiling at will ,wash everything off wait about 15 20 mins,and start to flattern, if you go near it to soon you will never get shut of lines and marks.after that have a...

Staylong ,Why go to the trouble of taking down the old ones.Just bash afew holes in them untill you find the joists,mark thm on the wall with a pencil. Buy some half inch p/boards a bit more expensive than three eights p/board but twice as strong. Nail these up over existing ceiling ,Scim it JOB...

AFter pva stage nail on your scim beads, by then it will be ready for scimming.5 bags of board finish will scim any basic room easily.Any probs let me know.

Yer just dilute the pva glue ,about 4xwater to 1x pva.Give it a good old stir if your walls are already flatish just stick it on with a roller. Wait about 10 mins and while its still tacky ,just scim right over it. Good luck m8
