I`m looking at installing a loft PPS in my bungalow but does anyone have any experience or idea on how effective a loft Positive Pressure System is when fitted in a L shaped hallway of a bungalow? Does the air creep into and help reduce condensation in the rooms around the corner? I have a...

    C/Htg-DHW Problem

Could the problem be linked to this? I drained the system last weekend (before putting the c/h on for the first time this winter) to put cleanser/sludge remover in with the intention in a couple of weeks of draining it again and putting inhibitor in. I do this each year as the mains water...

    C/Htg-DHW Problem

Can anyone help me with this please? Our boiler fired up this afternoon on auto as normal to heat the dhw but i noticed half an hour later that the c/h rads were hot even though the room stat was not switched on. Could this be a sticking valve of some sort? The system is only two years old.

    UPVC Door stiff to Lock

I have to force the door handle upward to get the lock to engage or disengage, as if the lock is out of line with the frame cutout where the lock engages. The lock works fine in the open position. Does anyone know how to adjust the lock plate on the frame?

Bleeding Rads upstairs or downstairs first?

Our oil fired boiler/sealed system has run ok throughout the summer for DHW only but since switching on the ch a couple of days ago the pressure has dropped from the normal 1.2 bar to just under 1.0 bar so I presumed the system needs bleeding. I`m ok on the routine for bleeding but is there...
