    This is a really basic question. But I could do with knowing! Whats the corrcet way of screwing 2 pieces of 2x1 (or any wood come to that) together? Is it that you use drill right through the first piece of wood (side) and slightly into the end of 2nd? Or should you drill all the way...

    How do you seal up sheets of Chipboard in order to prevent water / dampness penetration? I using chipboard as a baseboard for my model railway and although I'm very confident that the workroom it will be in is now dry I just wanted to take an extra precaution by sealing the chipboard.
