Having looked through the 'fault finding' section in the manual I believe the humming noise will be the fan? The part after that is asking if the ignition electrode is sparking. I can not see any evidence of that so ...

There is no hot water demand light on this model of boiler.

It doesn't work. Just a humming sound from the boiler indicating power to the boiler. The burner doesn't light and the pump does not appear to be running. So no heating and no hot water. Why do these things always happen at the start of a long weekend? That question was just rhetorical.

I have had to change my graphics card from an nVidia 8800GTX to an nVidia 9800GT. When playing Farcry some of the graphics disappear. Water becomes white or off white with no texture and some of the graphics white-out as well. Is this a problem with the driver or is the 9800GT not powerful...
