Hi folks, Ive just ripped the bathroom out and one of the walls im going to tile is old sand/cement render. Can i tile straight onto this or do i need to seal/prime it? It will be inside the shower enclosure if this makes any difference?? TMD

Folks, ive just had my ceilings plastered. When they dry i intend to paint them. Do i need to do anything before i paint them? IE brush it all over with watered down PVA etc? Im getting mixed opinions from my mates Cheers, TMD

Aha!!!!! It works....only 1 light hasnt come on. I will check the wires and bulb So from todays lesson i have learnt that the black wire is actually live!!! I think i will put some red tape round it so everyone else knows Top man jonhD

Yep it buzzes with the switch on but not when its off

with the switch off nothing bleeps when doing black 1 to all the reds. Same with black 2 and 3

right i have labeled the cables..... now am i right in saying i need to hold a probe on to black 1 and test that against red 1, then red 2 and 3. then black 2 against all the reds etc? I take it black probe to black wire etc? And what details do you need? The reading or if it just buzzes...
