I've had success in removing seized up nuts in the past by heating them up and then using a wrench. I spent hours trying to remove a nut once. I even banged the wrench beyond the point which was good for the part, but it didn't budge. I heated it up very briefly with a blow torch and voila...

That's a unique looking roller you have there. I'd suggest you first have a look here on Di Vapor and if it's not listed, contact them and they have a team which will try to source the part for you. Worth a shot. Do you know what model of shower it is by any chance?

If you take the cartridge out and send me a photo, I can help to identify it for you.

The black ring there is a piece of plastic which attaches onto (and therefore can be taken off) the thermostatic cartridge so it will fit that particular tap set. I've got one of those at home.

I was called out to a job which had this trap on a steam shower cabin. The trap cover is damaged and the steam spigot is broken. I can't find it anywhere. The diameter of the hole in the tray is 50mm. It needs to have a steam overflow spigot on it. Does anybody know where to get this from?

I have a problem, where there are lines going across the screen from when the computer starts, even at the bios. When Windows starts, in appearance it looks like safe mode but 10x worse. Do you think this is a graphics card problem, and more specifically, a transistor on the graphics card...

Yeah, it should work the same. I just fitted a steam shower, a modern one (from Di Vapor) and it has a trap which stops smells from going back up, which also had the steam waste exit as well, which went into the trap. The pipe connected to the toilet waste no problem, but my pipe was 40mm...

Yeah, most of these are complete problems waiting to happen. I've installed tens of them. The only good ones I've installed are the Di Vapor ones.

I have had a problem with them cracking now. Some heavy people have walked on them with high heels and they've cracked...

I thought as the plumbing section may receive visits people who know good plumbers they may be able to give a recommendation. :)
