    Zanussi WJS1397W Selector Stops.

Im getting quite fed up of this washing machine. Ive had to replace no end of parts. Anyway, in a new fit of recalcitrance its developed a new fault. I was doing some washing (natch) and all was going well, right upto one point when the selector just stopped moving. It had done a partial...

Ethernet cable connection to Orange Livebox

Hang on..... According to speedtest.net both my desktop (wired) and my laptop and PS3 (wireless) both score about the same speeds. Does that support that fact that a wired connection of 100mbps and a wireless connection of 53mbps makes no difference on an internet line of 5,400 mbps? The...

Ethernet cable connection to Orange Livebox

I have an Oange Livebox with quite a few devices connected to it  Both the wired and wireless network connections are quicker than your broadband line, so you wont find any difference between wired and wireless for internet use. Having said that, when it comes to home network...

    Is it possible

"... absolutley anyone in a car is ludicrus and pose a danger to other road users in their actions..." 3 months driving. I pilled 3,000 miles on my car in that time. Not 1 accident, not 1 near miss, not 1 other driver flashing their lights at me, giving me hand gestures or any other sign of...

Mobiles & Driving - Another Rant.

I was once shunted up the rear end by an old bloke driving a white van while he was chatting on a mobile..... it was an accident waiting to happen to hindsight. Ill never forget this.... After driving for 12 miles behind my Frontera, he got out of his van and (I swear this is the honest...

Claming Back bank charges - no response

Ill tell you where i would draw the line, well away from 11p. Yes, it was an unofficial overdraught, but what can you buy for 11p these days? Oh, and its nice that you can have a "buffer" of "a fw hundred pounds", not everyone is the same - Martial Arts instructor isnt exactly a well paid...

    Is it possible

"... other than making a prat of yourself and crashing the gears casuing alsorts of caos in junctions, what are you going to achieve...." As i said, it was the only way of driving my only car while i argued with a dodgy garage.

    Daihatsu fourtrack L reg

Try a Funtera instead. Cheaper to buy, run and repair. Parts are available everywhere. Plus, if you are going off road (you ARE going off road, arnt you?), there are only a very small number of off roaders that can go further off road than a Funtera Sport.

Claming Back bank charges - no response

Really? The HALIFAX once charged me £30 for being overdrawn by 11p for just a few hours. Hardly a fair charge.

    Drilling through fibreglassCa

From what ive heard, you can drill through fibleglass but you need to use a blunt drill bit (oddly enough) so you dont spoil the gel coat.

Claming Back bank charges - no response

You dont stand a chance with the MBNA. Those are the last people i would get involved with, they make loan sharks seem reasonable. I know quite a few people who have delt with the MBNA, and every time they have come off worse off. Pay them off and get rid of them or you will regret it.

    Trust Wireless Deskset problems.

Have you tried the "connect" buttons on the mouse/keyboard/reciever? Im sorry to state the obvious, but i find its the most obvious things that tend to get overlooked.

    Is it possible

The technique is quite simple. When accelerating and wanting to change gear, ease off the gas pedal while gently pushing the gear lever out of the current gear - then VERY gentlty push it toward the next gear while slowly increasing the engine revs, if you rev the engine slowly enough the...
