It does seem to have stopped for now. Might just change it over the next time I need to do it. What do they call that bottom bit, or do you have to buy the full filter unit?

Turned the valve with the brass cap. It looks like it has now stopped weeping though

Thanks again guys. I've only just got around to doing this. Some dirt did come out. After tightening it back up there is now a little weep from the small centre piece. Does this have an o ring that can be changed or would I have to change this part?

I have a Baxi solo boiler, this is above and goes to the upstairs where the cylinder and pump are. I want to clean out the filter on the left. Can anyone tell me how to isolate this to do it or is there another way?

I'm looking to replace my door gasket seals but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Some of them have bits missing and some starting to deteriorate a little. It's the seal that goes between the door and frame. Can anyone help with name or number that I need to look for?

Thanks again Dan. So the best way would be to put a short piece of pipe from the gate valve then a 22mm flexi like this..

Thanks for your help and advice guys. Am I right in thinking that there is no way to fit a flexi to this gate valve then directly?

This is the gate valve, just pretty standard and not sure of the brand.. I am looking to find something like a flexi to fit to this as there's no play in the pipe to get enough movement to fit this back in. The existing one had to be cut out.

Does anyone know what size nut fits onto a 22mm Gate valve? I know the 22mm refers to the pipe size but cant find out the nut size. Thanks

To both that replied.. I am a competent person where it comes to electrics. In a care home setting, I didn't say that i were a qulified electrician. The question clearly shows that i am enquiring if the same rules apply to a care home setting as would in your own property?

Sorry i didn't make myself clear. :oops: The new timber is 44x70mm and the existing stud is 30x70mm. So the screw would be going through 44mm into 30mm. I won't be able to fix from both sides as i would have to remove more plasterboard so were hoping to just scrrew in from the side showing.
