I have a boiler and Megaflo in the loft with a long pipe run from one side of the loft to the other. Loft has vented soffits and so gets pretty cold, especially at this time of year (which keeps causing the froststat to turn the boiler on in the middle of the night but that's a different problem...

OP? I'm not exagerating :( It really does take 3 minutes to heat up. Stays hot then for a bit (i.e. if I close the tap and then open it again a few minutes later), but if I then open a hot tap say 1/2 hour later then the water takes another 3 mins to heat up. The boiler control is set to...

Yeah, after about 3 minutes the water is nice and hot. Very hot in fact... I've not checked to see if the tank switches the boiler off. I'm guessing it must or my last gas bill would have been huge :) I'll check the boiler tomorrow to be sure it's turning off OK.

Just moved into a new place which has a Megaflo system fitted plus a boiler for the central heating (and I assume hot water for the Megaflo?). The hot water takes about 3 minutes minimum to get hot - initially it's coming out of the taps cold. I don't know much about the Megaflo systems but...

Great - thanks :) How about afterwards? Just leave all the hot taps open and then turn the cold water supply back onto the Megaflow or is there a bleeding sequence to get rid of any airlocks?

I've just moved into a new place which is fitted with a Megaflow system. Which unhandily has come with no instructions :( I want to change the hot tap in the bathroom but I've no idea how to drain the hot water system/ Megaflow system. Could someone help explain how I'd go about doing it...
